SpringThyme’s infused fluid shortenings are dual purpose ingredients made by blending hard and soft vegetable oils and infusing fresh herbs and spices into the oil matrix creating fat-based flavour solutions. The benefits are three-fold resulting in ingredients which: -

SpringThyme Fluid Shortenings can be used in a wide range of applications such as speciality breads, soft rolls, ethnic breads, pizza, pastry and laminated pastries, savoury snacks, biscuits and cake batters as well as other prepared foods within manufacturing, catering and in-store bakery sectors.
Fluid Shortenings can be used as a supplementary ingredient keeping recipe reformulation to a minimum. The products have excellent keeping qualities resulting in a lingering flavour profile after processing, freezing and thawing, or during storage. They are also an excellent building block for other flavours.
