SpringThyme opened its new factory in January 2005 at Padiham, Lancashire, heralding a new era of growth for the company.

Significant investment has been made at Padiham to create a centre of excellence for Food Processing and Infusion Technology. This facility has been developed to provide capacity for future sales expansion and incorporates a range of enhanced production plant designed for the development and processing of Infusion-based ingredients.

The entire operation has been custom-built for infusion processing; from the ingredient staging pre-process right through to the state of the art separation and filtration systems at end-of-line. The methodologies employed throughout these systems enable SpringThyme to consistently produce the highest quality of infused oil, maximising flavour capture and retaining the ‘fresh’ taste of the herb or vegetable.

Following processing each Infused Oil is blended to a specific formulation ready for distribution in a range of packaging formats.
